Finding cures for children's genetic diseases

Rockhampton Leagues Club - Sunday 21 August 2016

Little did Pam Hind of Rockhampton Leagues Club know just how successful a Jeans for Genes High Tea would be when she and her colleagues came up with the idea. Planning was everything and around 80 guests arrived to enjoy champagne and petit sandwiches and cakes with pretty china all in keeping with a traditional High Tea.

Heidi Germann, a local clinical psychologist, spoke passionately on behalf of Children’s Medical Research Institute and everyone enjoyed the afternoon immensely. Thanks to the generosity of all the guests and the hard work from the staff of the Club, the magnificent sum of $3,429 was raised for Jeans for Genes and Children’s Medical Research Institute.
