Board member receives OAM

Long term Children’s Medical Research Institute supporter and Board Member Bruce Fink has been awarded a Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia, for his service to the community through charitable work.
Mr Fink’s OAM was announced as part of the Queen’s Birthday Honours on Monday.
As well as serving on the CMRI board since 2013, he has been involved in our Finance and Investment Committee and our Audit and Risk Committee.
Mr Fink is also a supporter of Sydney Children’s Hospital and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute.
He is immediate past president of the United Israel Appeal NSW and is also on the board of the Australia/Israel and Jewish Affairs Council as well as supporting the Jewish Communal Appeal, Sydney Jewish Museum and the Zionist Federation of Australia.
Mr Fink is also involved with the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the National Institute of Dramatic Arts and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
He has received many awards for his work with education through several Jewish schools across Sydney and Melbourne as well as within the scouting movement in Australia.
Mr Fink has spent more than 30 years working across the areas of media and entertainment. He is chair of the Bickham Court Group of Companies.
