Fundraising and CMRI

Many members of the team at the Children’s Medical Research Institute aren’t scientists.  They are people in the community committing their time, energy and enthusiasm to raise much needed funds to support our scientists and their vision of a healthier future for all children.

The CMRI’s Fundraising Committees were absolutely vital in the establishment of the Institute in the 1950’s and 1960’s; they continue to be central to the success and longevity of our organisation.  We are lucky to be supported by thirty nine fundraising committees and groups from around Australia.
