Does Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) accept students for Honours and PhD projects?

Each year CMRI offers PhD, Honours and Summer Scholarship projects to high achieving students. Students make an integral contribution to the research achievements of CMRI.

Obtaining a PhD student position at CMRI is highly competitive. Successful applicants are awarded scholarships that provide additional financial support above the standard university remuneration, and staff will provide extensive support with scholarship and award applications.

More information about CMRI’s PhD projects can be found on the University of Sydney’s Research Supervisor Connect website.

Interested students should contact the Unit Head of the research group they are most interested in working with to discuss the projects available.
