Does Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) use human embryonic stem cells for research?

Human embryonic stem cells are not used in the research conducted at CMRI. We have international experts on stem cell research who study mouse embryonic stem cells, and also human adult embryonic stem cells.

Using these methods we aim to answer pressing biological questions that will provide the information needed to develop new and improved ways to treat and prevent childhood conditions such as cancer, epilepsy and birth defects.
