The Children’s Medical Research Institute runs monthly ‘Discovery Days’ – open days for community groups, clubs and individuals to visit the Institute. This is a chance to learn about DNA, genes and what makes us who we are. You will have the chance to hear from our world leading scientists about their research and latest breakthroughs and also tour our state of the art research facility to see science in action.
If your group has a particular area of interest we can tailor some aspects of the day to suit your needs.
A take-home information booklet and delicious home-made lunch and morning tea is provided. A nominal fee is charged to cover catering costs.
For more information or to make a booking, please contact the Science Communications Unit on our toll free number 1800 GENIES or 1800 436 437, or email jphilps@cmri.org.au.
