All Australians at some point in their lives have benefited from health and medical research. The CMRI is committed to ensuring that our research continues to improve the health of future generations and that the Australian people can share in our journey of discovery.
The Children’s Medical Research Institute has a comprehensive community awareness and education program aiming to share the exciting developments in genetics and medical science that we make. Our program includes opportunities to visit the Institute, professional development conferences for science educators, access to dynamic science communicators to give presentations at your workplace, community group or school and fun and easy activities and experiments to try at home.
As part of our community awareness program, the CMRI offers a series of four postcards. The postcards have stunning photographs captured by our talented researchers, with educational captions on the back. The postcards are proudly sponsored by Kimberly-Clark Australia. Visit our Educational Resources Page for more information.
