Community Groups

The Children’s Medical Research Institute has a long history of community involvement.  Since the institute began we have had staff dedicated to providing the local and wider Sydney community with accurate and current information on genetics, human genetic diseases and the latest research at the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

We offer two possibilities for your community group to learn more about our work, and about genetics.  The first is by attending one of our monthly Discovery Days held at the Institute, or you can organise one of our speakers to visit your group and present an informative talk.
