The most precious gift you can give this Christmas...
is the gift of life
Join CMRI's family of supporters and help give our children a brighter Christmas and a healthier future!
Just before Christmas nineteen years ago, Tom Waterson was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Today, at 21, Tom lives with a slow-growing brain tumour and continues to cope with the pain and uncertainty of not knowing what the future holds. His mum, Jan, firmly believes that CMRI's work holds the answers to many diseases like Tom's.
“Tom may live to 90 or leave us at 30,” says Jan. “When you know your child may not be around forever, you make the most of every minute you have. I live for the day CMRI researchers find a way to treat Tom… and I hope that day is close at hand.”

CMRI researchers have made significant advances in recent times and what was once a glimmer of hope in our battle against cancer now seems a real possibility. It’s absolutely vital that we maintain the momentum and see our projects through to completion – so that people like Tom may reap the benefits of our research in their lifetime.
But we can’t achieve this without your support. So please make a donation today to help drive our research forward. Your gift to CMRI is truly priceless – it may well be the gift of life for people like Tom.
